We are in studio and available to help with all of your gifting needs Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm. All gifts are handmade to order and our normal processing time is 2-3 business days from time of order placed.

Rush services are available at checkout for an additional fee if you would like your gift to be made ready within 24 business hours. If your order is placed Monday-Friday before 11am AST, your gift will be made ready the same day. Any rush orders placed after 11am, or on weekends will be made ready the following business day.

You can also select a delayed date at checkout if you would like your gift to be shipped out, hand delivered, or picked up on a certain date.

Please note that holiday shipping times will vary from normal shipping times across the Country. To ensure your package arrives prior to Dec 25th your gift should be shipped by Dec 12th. Xpresspost and rush gift curation options available. Final day for shipments, hand deliveries and pickups is Dec 23rd. We encourage you to place all final holiday orders by Dec 21st. If you are unsure about the best option for your gift please contact our custom service team at and we would be happy to assist. You should allow for min 10 business days for all normal holiday shipping to avoid delays and 5 business days when shipping xpresspost.

Shipping: We offer shipping across Canada from our studio in Nova Scotia for a flat rate of $22 via Canada Post. Gifts containing alcohol can only be shipped within Nova Scotia, and gifts containing spirits can only be hand delivered within the inner HRM area. Approximate shipping transit times are as follows:

• Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI: Approx. 1-3 business days

• Ontario & Quebec: Approx. 2-4+ business days

• Newfoundland: Approx. 3-7+ business days.

• Other Canadian Provinces/Territories: Approx. 4−9+ business days.

We offer international shipping for gifts as well. Please contact us at for more info on international shipping rates and transit times. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any gifts shipped internationally that may be searched or refused by customs.

Hand Delivery: Gifts can be hand delivered to your recipient(s) within the inner Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Lower Sackville, and Eastern Passage areas for a rate of $16. We will reach out to your recipient(s) to arrange the best time for delivery once your gift is ready, or on your selected delayed date.

We are happy to provide special quotes for hand deliveries in NS to areas outside of outside of our delivery zone (Tantallon, Hammonds Plains, Fall River, Enfield, etc.). Please reach out to us at for more info.

Pickup: Free studio pickup is available at our studio in Dartmouth if you would like to pick up your gifts(s) in person during our business hours from Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Yes to both. Shipping multiple gifts to one address will always provide you with the best economies of scale and lowers your cost to ship per gift. If you are shipping gifts to multiple locations in the same order, you will be able to enter the different shipping addresses at checkout.

You can select as many gifts shipping to one location or different locations as you’d like in the same order, but please note that the flat rate shipping only applies when shipping 1-3 gifts to the same location (excluding PO Box locations). If you place an order with 4 or more gifts shipping to one location, we will reach out to provide the additional shipping fees to ship your gifts once they are packed for shipping. You will still benefit from excellent economies of scale and the cost per gift will decline the more gifts you ship to one location.

PO Box Disclaimer: Some addresses require the use of a PO Box to ship packages and the flat rate for 2-3 gifts may not apply in some instances. Unfortunately, we are not able to assess this cost until your gifts are made and packed for shipping. If applicable, we will reach out with additional shipping fees.

Insurance Disclaimer: If you are shipping 2 or more gifts to one address or if your order value is over $250, we may reach out to recommend some additional insurance options for you, otherwise we cannot be held responsible for large shipments containing multiple gifts in the very rare instance that a shipping claim is required. Please note that our team takes great care when packing your gifts for shipping and utilizes the most premium packing supplies and techniques to ensure your gift will arrive looking perfect, regardless of carrier handling.

Simply add the gifts you’d like to purchase to your cart. If you are selecting more than one of the same pre-designed gift and would like a different card message for each recipient, we recommend adding each gift to your cart individually which will allow you to enter personalized messages for each.

When you are are ready to checkout, click on "View Cart" and select the box at the top of the page titled "Ship To Multiple Addresses”. This will allow you to enter individual shipping addresses for each gift in your cart.

If an incorrect address is provided, if your recipient has moved, the parcel was refused at the door, or was not picked up at the recipient's post office, Canada Post will return your gift to our studio. If your gift is deemed undeliverable, we will contact the number or email address provided at the time of order.

Additional fees will apply to have your gift returned to the Black Bow studio and shipped back out with a new shipping label. To avoid unnecessary fees, it is very important that you confirm and provide the correct address(es) for your recipient(s) when placing your order.

If we are unable to contact the individual who placed the order and cannot make arrangements within 30 days of the order being placed, we will consider the gift abandoned.

Our gifts arrive beautifully presented, and it is our standard to send gifts exactly as shown when purchasing Pre-Designed gifts.

When you design your own gift box, we will always email you a photo of your gift once it has been handmade for you to see!

If a substitution is required, we will always contact you to select the most appropriate replacement for your special gift of equal or greater value. Yes, and this is the most affordable option for customization. We can change the ribbon color, remove our branding and add custom tags, seals, or notes to align with your brand. For corporate gifting projects, we typically require a minimum of 1-2 months for up to 100 gifts, and 2-3 months for 100 or more gifts. We can accommodate shorter timelines in some instances depending on the products and materials sourced for your gifts.

Our gifting team will work with you one-on-one to bring your specific gift vision to life based on the occasion, budget, timeline, and items you would like to include. Please note that this is not the same as our "Design A Gift" feature here where you can choose from over 300 products to create a gift that is uniquely yours any time!

We absolutely do! Gift cards may be purchased on our website by searching “gift card” and selecting a denomination between $25 and $200. Our gift cards have no expiry and can be used towards any gifts or products on our website.
